TERMS OF USE — STARQUESTS

1. Acceptance of the Terms

By accessing the StarQuests application, you agree to these Terms of Use.
If you do not accept these conditions, please stop using the application immediately.

2. Nature of the Service

StarQuests is a geolocated entertainment application offering:

• Narrative experiences
• Voice and visual interactions
• Immersive scenarios
• Interactive GPS zones
• Missions, quests, or playful challenges

The experiences offered are purely fictional, unofficial, and have no commercial connection with the real locations where the GPS points are situated.

3. Non-Affiliation With Locations and Organizations

Unless clearly indicated with the label "Official," StarQuests is not affiliated with:

• Any tourist site
• Any municipality
• Any park
• Any museum
• Any company
• Any brand
• Any private operator

The GPS points used are based on public geographic data and do not represent an official depiction of the mentioned or surrounding sites.
Any thematic resemblance to real locations is purely coincidental or an artistic interpretation.

4. Respect for Private Property and Local Regulations

Users agree to respect:

• Private properties
• Restricted zones
• Areas prohibited to the public
• Safety instructions
• Opening hours of locations
• Local laws

The application never explicitly asks users to enter private areas that are not open to the public.
Users are fully responsible for their movements and actions.

5. User Safety

StarQuests cannot be held responsible for:

• Falls, injuries, collisions
• Dangerous situations
• Use of the application while walking, driving, or cycling
• Failure to respect traffic laws
• Weather conditions
• GPS errors, signal loss, or inaccuracies

The user must remain vigilant at all times, prioritize their safety, and follow local laws and regulations in each location.

6. Tickets and Paid Experiences

Tickets purchased within StarQuests grant access to:

• Narrative content
• Missions
• Media
• AI interactions
• Immersive games
• The GPS route

Tickets do not grant access to:

• Physical entry to a location
• A private facility
• A real activity operated by a third party

StarQuests does not sell access to tourist sites.
Users must separately purchase any required tickets for visiting those locations, if needed.

7. Intellectual Property

All StarQuests content—including:

• Videos
• AI voices
• Narrative elements
• Visuals
• 3D models
• Game mechanics
• Technologies
• Source code
• Algorithms
• Databases
• AI Teachings
• Audio elements
• Exclusive experiences

—belongs to Noasys Holdings / StarQuests.

Any reproduction, modification, or reuse is strictly prohibited.

8. Removal of GPS Points

Any owner, operator, municipality, or organization may request the removal or modification of a StarQuests GPS point or zone located:

• On private property
• In a sensitive area
• In a restricted-access zone
• In a security zone

We will remove or modify the point as quickly as possible, as a sign of good faith and legal compliance.

9. Geolocation and Personal Data

The application requires:

• Access to geolocation
• Access to the microphone
• Access to temporary storage (media caching)

These data are used for:

• Game operation
• Zone entry/exit detection
• Voice recognition (Whisper)
• Text-to-speech synthesis (TTS)

No raw user audio is stored permanently.
Personal data is never sold to third parties.

10. Service Modifications and Updates

StarQuests may modify:

• Experiences
• Features
• Prices
• GPS zones
• Terms of Use

…without prior notice, in order to improve the user experience.

11. Limitation of Liability

StarQuests provides its service "as is."
We do not guarantee:

• Continuous availability
• GPS accuracy
• Complete absence of bugs
• Suitability for all types of use

To the extent permitted by law, StarQuests disclaims all liability related to the use of the application.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by:

• The laws of the Province of Quebec
• The laws of Canada
• And, when used internationally, applicable local laws (EU, United States, Asia)
